Silences

In 1999 Paolo Beccari started to photograph  south-West Sardinian landscapes. He never gave up.
Silences is made of a selection of the projec’s footage and an original soundtrack expressly composed by  Stefano Rachel  and Carlo Porrà and recorded by  STEREONOISE EXP with Mario Massa At the trumpet.

Silence is never the same.
The silence in a valley and in an deserted village can’t be the same, even when the same story is told.
Sounds like listening to different people talking of the same accident: the inner records are different, details change, the atmosphere changes. The outcome is the same. SILENCEs.
